1st day of 3rd Grade
Dear Tyler & Taylor:
So today you started 3rd grade and I am so proud of you. We have had a wonderful summer doing all kinds of fun things. Visiting far off places and seeing loved ones. But today you trade the pool towels and bathing suits for new kicks and rulers. I have enjoyed our time together and while you appear to grow so quickly and I wish it would slow down...I love that you are getting bigger and experiencing new things. A few words of advice from your Mom:
Hard work and discipline are your best friends...but not your only friends :)
Be a good friend
Treat others with love and respect even if they don't treat you that way
Make good choices
Enjoy the outdoors
You are an example to your brother William
Reading makes you better
Healthy snacks taste good
Patience is a virtue
and above all Mom and Dad love you! You are the dream we had before we knew you!

Julie, thank you for posting these FABULOUS photos of my growing grandchildren. And I love that quote about making hard work and discipline your best friends, not your ONLY friends. To everyone else, there's a story behind that quote .............

SOOOO cute! They are so old, i cant believe it. Im posting pics on my blog as we speak about the first day of school. Our kids are old. It makes me a little sad.

Those babies were my dream too. I love them with all of my heart and can't believe how fast they are growing up.
