Our cousins are in town for Maddie's wedding...and we are ready to party! LIFE IS GOOD!

Hooray for Big Boy Will!

Big day at the Rose household.

William came to us and said he was ready to cut up his pacie! All by himself.

We are headed on a Disney Cruise in less than a week (YAY!) and we have been saying for weeks, "Big boys don't take pacie's on the Disney cruise."

The leverage worked. No tears, bedtime went relatively smooth and all is well.

Hooray for Big boy Will! (that moniker sounds like a rapper)

Happy Mother's Day

To the Mother's in my life....

My mother in law Karen: I could not have chosen a more thoughtful, loving, woman as my mother in law. I feel so lucky that we are so close, that you let me call you Mom, and that we are such great friends. Thank you for raising the boy, that became my husband. I love you.

To my Mom Nance: You have always been such a caring, patient and loving woman with me. Thank you for teaching me to Choose the Right and for giving me the foundation I have needed to become a better person. I love spending time with you and can't wait to see you very soon. I love you Mom! You are the best!

To my children's birth mothers: There are no words that haven't already been shared. Your loving sacrifice has brought me the greatest joy I can imagine. I am far from perfect as your babies mother...but I hope my love and dedication to them honors the decision you made to place them in my arms. You are cherished.

Happy 7th Birthday Tyler

Tyler turns 7 today!

Here are some of the reasons why this kid is so special!

* He is a good friend

* He is a good helper

* He is rarely moody and often wears a smile

* He loves his family and we love him

* LOVES roller coasters, legos, the Wii, his bike and nintendo DS

* His favorite foods are pizza and hot dogs, but eats his veggies without complaint

* He enjoys math (gets it from his father)

* He gets SO EXCITED about the simplest things, he gets a snack ticket after every baseball game he plays in, and to him, it's like hitting the lottery JACKPOT! simple pleasures

* He wants to be a policeman or pilot when he grows up.
